Jeremy is a well-known Independent Financial Adviser, Wealth Manager, and Philanthropist and Jeremy was born in July 1968.
He has a large and varied international client base, from individuals and families to businesses and high-profile celebrities.
From age 6, Jeremy studied percussion and the rudiments and theory of music intending to become a professional musician, playing Drums, Percussion and Piano. He performed in orchestras and Theatre including the Norwich Philharmonic and joined the Musicians Union at the age of 14. Because of his love for music, he has been a member of many choirs as a tenor and indeed this year will be 39 years, he has performed with the Norfolk Emergency Services Choir (formerly Norfolk Constabulary Choir) also being involved in many of their charity shows.
At the age of 18 Jeremy helped to build a North Norfolk Charity, Coast to County Hospital Radio and was the Chair for over ten years.
Jeremy worked in a recording studio as a producer for 3 years before embarking on a complete change of profession, joining the Prudential Assurance Company in December 1992, and it was during this time he studied for his financial services qualifications. He stayed with the company for 10 years before becoming an Independent Financial Adviser, which he continues to enjoy today.
Jeremy joined Norwich City Council as a Thorpe Hamlet Liberal Democrat Councillor in May 2006 and was re-elected for a 4-year term in May 2007.
He was the Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of the City of Norwich for 2008/2009 and remains the Treasurer of the City of Norwich Civic Association for all past Lord Mayors’ , Sheriffs’ and their consorts.
Jeremy is the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Human Rights Charity, Peter Tatchell Foundation.
He is a former trustee of the Norwich and Norfolk Racial Equality Council.
Jeremy has worked with many Human Rights organizations including Amnesty International and Stonewall.
He is the Co-Chair of the Norfolk LGBT+ History Society
Jeremy is a former Director and honorary Treasurer of Norfolk Carers Support and is also a trustee of Friends of Norwich in bloom.
He is a former trustee of Norwich Consolidated Charities.
Because of his love of Languages and Cultures, for over 20 years, Jeremy has reported and commentated for the European Broadcasting Union at the Eurovision Song Contest. During May 2024 the contest will be in Malmo, Sweden.
In his leisure time, he enjoys relaxing with friends, family, and his Chocolate Labrador Bailey at accommodations in Norwich and North Norfolk. Jeremy regularly travels for business and often incorporates this with visits to the Theatre, Concerts, Exhibitions, and Cultural pursuits.
